There are unknown data for home insulation measures across Europe. A manufacturer\u2019s survey suggests that houses in Great Britain perform poorly in retaining heating temperatures.<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n During a discussion about climate change on the 31st October 2021 edition of BBC Radio Ulster\u2019s Sunday Sequence programme, John Barry claimed (at 1:01:15<\/a>): \u201cWe have some of the worst insulated houses in Western Europe.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Insulation measures for dwellings generally include window double glazing, cavity or solid wall insulation, and loft\/roof insulation<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Home insulation measures<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n In the UK, information on insulation in dwellings is available in house condition surveys, published separately in England<\/a>, Scotland<\/a>, Wales<\/a>, and Northern Ireland<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The most recent available data from the Northern Ireland Housing Executive\u2019s 2016 House Condition Survey<\/a> found that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n This table collates the most recent data across the four jurisdictions\u2019 separate house condition surveys.
